How to get to Cascais
By plane
The region is served by the Lisbon International Airport, located just 20 km away.
To reach Cascais from Lisbon airport, you can do it from either public transport or by car, being able to request your rental through the various companies on the market.
By public transport
Airport - Cais do Sodre - Cascais
Without leaving the airport can be reached by Metro or through the Aero Bus to Cais do Sodre station and travel by train to Cascais.
Subway
The Airport Metro station has operating hours from 6:30 am to 1:00 am.
Go to the airport metro station (red line) and scroll to the Cais do Sodre station (green line). You will need to make transshipment at the Alameda station to Green Line, direction Cais do Sodre.
Train
At Cais do Sodre station features The train service from CP, with direct connection to Cascais.
By taxi
You can also opt for the Taxi. Look, just outside of Lisbon airport, one of the many taxis available to take you to your destination - Cascais.

Train
With connections every half hour, starting near 6am and end at around 1 am, the station of Lisbon (Cais do Sodre) is connected to the underground city.
This train has stops in Cascais, Estoril, Estoril, Wall and Carcavelos.
Buses
Sightseeing Tours, links between all the urban centers of the region.

Career 417 - For visits to Sintra, Cascais from the bus station on the ground floor of the shopping center Cascais Villa.

Accommodation
The hotel industry is vast, modern and diverse, including hotels, apartment hotels, inns and Manor house units and local accommodation, with a good level of service and a long tradition of quality tourism.
The hotels of 3, 4 and 5 stars have, in general, air conditioning, swimming pool, health center, boutiques and other amenities. The food is generally excellent and reasonably priced. It should make advance reservations for the months of spring and summer, Christmas, New Year and Easter.

Must be accompanied by an original certificate which notably included the place of origin and health.

Cash and credit cards
Almost all Portuguese banks and many major European banks have branches in Estoril and Cascais. Currency exchange, withdrawals and money transfers are very easy. All international credit cards are valid and widely accepted in Portugal.
Timetables and services
Banks: Monday to Friday, from 8.30 to 15.00.
Shopping facilities: from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 19.00 Monday to Friday. They state, on Saturdays at 13 hours. Large supermarkets and shopping centers practice daily, continuous hours, from 10 to 23 hours.
Pharmacies: from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 19.00 Monday to Friday, Saturday, closes at 13:00. There are, however, always one or two permanent service pharmacies in the same area, according to pre-established schedule. Informs the reception of the hotel or the panel placed at the door of every pharmacy.
Public Services: Monday to Friday, from 9.30 to 12.30 and from 14 to 17.30.

Right next to, in Sintra area, it is produced Colares wine. They are red and white wines table, whose production area is classified "DOC - Controlled Denomination of Origin" and extends along the coast, with the vineyards protected by sand dunes.
